Selection Procedure Details for IBPS clerk 2013 

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducting online Common Written Examination (CWE) for selection of Clerical Cadre vacancies in the Public Sector Banks.
  
Candidates who have applied for the post in the clerk in IBPS which was appoved by Public Sector Banks through a Single Common Written Examination. The selection process will be carried out in two methods,

1.Common Written Examination
2.Common Interviews conducted by IBPS.

Common Written Examination:


Eligible candidates have to apply through online application mode from the IBPS website www.ibps.com Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts this Online Exam for Clerical Cadre posts.

Online Exam Details :

Total number of Marks   : 200
Time Duration : 2 hours
Exam type :  Objective Type
Option Language : English or Hindi
Negative Marks : 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the objective type

Each candidate will have to secure a minimum score in each test and also on total to be considered to be called for interview.

Common Interviews:

Candidates who qualify in CWE Clerk-III, will subsequently be called for a Common Interviews to be conducted by the Participating Organisations. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ EXSM candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20.

Candidates, successfully qualified in both the CWE and Common Interview will be listed in the order of merit. On completion of the interview process, depending on the available State/UT wise vacancies, candidates shortlisted will be allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, keeping in view the spirit of Govt.Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc.
