UPSC combined defence service examination.
Upsc has invites the application for combined defence service examination (ll) - CDSll 2013 for admissions to Officers Training Academy,Indian Military Academy,Air Force Academy and Indian Naval Academy and also including SSC Women non technical course..
The following courses will be conducted by upsc for combined defence service examination.
Officers Training Academy : Chennai 14th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in october, 2014 - 12 seats.
Indian Military Academy : Dehradun 137th course commencing in July, 2014 – 250 seats.
Air Force Academy : Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in JULY , 2014 (No-196th F(P) course-32).
Officers Training Academy : Chennai, 100th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in April, 2014 - 175 seats.
Indian Naval Academy : Ezhimala Course Commencing in JULY , 2014 Executive (Hydro/ General Service) – 40 seats.
Educational Qualifications :
IMA and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent
Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering
Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering
Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB interview at the SSB
Candidates who are studying in the final year degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination
Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognised by government as equivalent to professional and technical degrees would also be eligible for admission to the examination
Age Limits :
For Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course)-born not earlier than 02nd July, 1989 and not later than 01st July , 1995 only are eligible Unmarried Women,widows who have not remarried also eligible..
